No — you can book directly. If your primary care doctor found an abnormal kidney lab (a rising creatinine, a low eGFR, or protein in your urine), bring those results; we will review them and coordinate with your PCP.

Most early chronic kidney disease is managed with medication and monitoring, not dialysis — the goal is to slow progression, and many patients never need it. Your specific plan is set by Dr. Khosla based on your labs.
Yes. New and established patients anywhere in Texas can do secure video visits for lab reviews, medication adjustments, and follow-ups. Ask the front desk to set one up.
It depends on your stage and how stable your labs are — often every three to six months when things are stable, and more frequently when your numbers are changing or medications are being adjusted. Many follow-ups can be done by telehealth.
Dr. Khosla admits and coordinates dialysis at hospitals and dialysis centers in West Houston and the Fort Bend area, including Houston Methodist West and Houston Methodist Sugar Land, so your inpatient and dialysis care stays connected to your nephrologist.
