Remix Medical's primary care physicians in Houston see adults for checkups, yearly physicals, screenings, vaccines, and sick visits, and manage long-term conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes, and high cholesterol. You see the same doctor at every visit, and that doctor shares one chart with our kidney, pain, and lung specialists. Same-day and video visits are available, and new patients are welcome at our Montrose — Upper Kirby and Northwest Houston — Jones Road offices. Family medicine or internal medicine? Both are primary care, and both of our physicians are board-certified. Family medicine doctors train to care for every age and a wide range of everyday problems. Internal medicine doctors train only in adult medicine, with more depth in complex chronic disease. If you are a healthy adult who wants a checkup and a doctor you can reach, either fits. We treat long-term pain that has not eased with standard care, across Houston and Texas. Our board-certified doctors help with back and neck pain, sciatica, slipped discs, joint pain, headaches, and nerve pain. We use spine injections, nerve blocks, and nerve-burning (RFA). We also check if a spinal cord stimulator may help. We share one record with your other Remix doctors.

Thinh Vo, MD is Remix Medical's board-certified pulmonologist in Houston. He sees patients at our Montrose — Upper Kirby office on Richmond Avenue, near the Texas Medical Center, and by video visit anywhere in Texas. We treat asthma, COPD, sleep apnea and other sleep-related breathing problems, and a cough that will not go away. Breathing tests are done in the office, sleep studies can be done at home, and we arrange CT scans and pulmonary rehab when they are needed. Your lung care stays on the same record as your primary care, kidney, and other Remix doctors. When to see a pulmonologist instead of your regular doctor: a cough lasting more than eight weeks, asthma that still flares despite a daily inhaler, COPD with repeat flares or ER visits, shortness of breath that has not been explained, an abnormal chest X-ray or CT, or loud snoring with daytime sleepiness. Most plans do not require a referral, though some HMO and Medicare Advantage plans do. Our team can check yours when you call.

Our chiropractic team treats spine and muscle problems across Houston and Texas. We use spine adjustments, soft-tissue work, joint work, and healing exercise. We help with back pain, neck pain, headaches, sciatica, sports injuries, and pain after an injury. We work closely with our pain and primary care teams.
