The Physicians
Uday Khosla, MD
Uday M. Khosla, MD, is board certified in nephrology and hypertension. Dr. Khosla has served as a Houston kidney consultant since 2004. He currently serves as the managing partner at Remix Medical in Houston, TX, and is always looking for ways to improve client care.
In addition to managing Remix Medical, Dr. Khosla is also the founder and manager of Azuris Dialysis, comprised of renal specialists and developers of modern dialysis solutions. Furthermore, he’s the CEO of Khosla Health Concepts, a health care and IT consulting firm focused on modernizing health care experiences for both client and doctor.
Dr. Khosla received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati. He then traveled to Houston to complete his internship and residency in internal medicine at the esteemed Baylor College of Medicine and remained at Baylor to complete his fellowship in nephrology and hypertension. To further his training, Dr. Khosla completed a mini-fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta in renal ultrasound studies.
Dr. Khosla enjoys sharing his knowledge with colleagues and students, and his works have been published in numerous scientific journals and textbooks.
Dr. Khosla is available as a kidney consultant in a variety of settings including in-hospital, outpatient clinic, outpatient dialysis, and home care.
Kaveh Samani, MD
Dr. Samani specializes in hospital/facility and outpatient-based Internal Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Samani graduated from the Shiraz University of Medical Sciences. Dr. Samani is affiliated with Houston Methodist Hospital, HCA Houston Medical Center and St. Joseph Hospital and Medical Center.
Raju Mantena, DO
Dr. Raju Mantena is an anaesthesiologist and pain specialist based in the Houston area and has over 15 years of medical experience which he relies upon each day to successfully treat his patients’ acute and chronic pain. He is a co-founder of Remix Medical. As a renowned expert, he has given numerous lectures on interventional pain management and has also assisted with training anaesthesiology residents.
Dr. Raju Mantena has performed over 15,000 cutting-edge procedures throughout his career with a high success rate. The procedures range from intradiscal procedures, to epidural steroid injections, radio frequency ablation, joint injections, nerve blocks for cancer pain, and spinal cord stimulation.
Before working in Houston, Dr. Raju Mantena served on the anaesthesiology/pain management staff of several large leading New York hospitals and the largest anaesthesia group in the country. He also served as the Director of Pain Management at Forest Hills Hospital in New York.

According to Dr. Raju Mantena, successfully treating chronic and acute pain requires multiple modalities, including conservative non-invasive measures (rest, ice, heat, stretching, exercise, physical therapy), medications, and injections.

Everald Manning, MD
Dr. Manning joined the Remix Medical Family with the founding of Premier Primary Care Physicians in July of 2019. He is a native of Montego Bay, Jamaica; but Cleveland, Ohio is his hometown. He obtained his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX in May of 2000. He completed his residency in Family Medicine in July of 2003 at Christus St. Joseph Hospital, right here in Houston. Dr Manning practice for over 15 years along with Dr. Samuel Pegram a respected Houston Rheumatologist. Dr. Manning is a member of the American Academy of Family Medicine and has a special interest in Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, and other autoimmune diseases. He enjoys spending time with his wife and children, running, reading, and weightlifting when not providing care.
Alham Samani, DC
Friendly, dedicated, energetic, and passionate. Dr. Samani’s philosophy to healing is to provide quality care in a warm, comfortable environment while maintaining the highest standards of practice at all times. Her multi-disciplinary approach to care in tandem with extensive knowledge of the human body allows her to provide quality chiropractic and wellness treatments. Dr. Samani founded Accel Chiropractic Center with the hopes of aligning the lives and health of every person that walks into the practice.
