Origin
Most healthcare runs on a corporate clock. The pieces — your primary doctor, your specialists, your pharmacy, your hospital — all exist, but they don’t talk to each other, and the people making decisions about your care aren’t the ones sitting across from you.
Eight-minute visits, rotating providers, corporate referral loops — Remix Medical threw them out, then rebuilt around technology that connects, communication that works, and clinicians who stay.

What we practice
Eight service lines, one practice.
A patient rarely arrives with one problem. Kidney disease turns up alongside high blood pressure; chronic pain turns up alongside a primary-care history that changes how it should be treated. These sit in one group so that context is not lost between buildings.
Nephrology & Hypertension
We care for kidney disease, high blood pressure, and dialysis. We also treat salt and mineral problems.
Internal Medicine
Full adult care for long-term disease, prevention, and complex health problems.
Family Medicine
Primary care from annual checkups and screenings to long-term disease management.
Pain Management
Injections and procedures for long-term spine, joint, and nerve pain.
Pulmonary Medicine
Full lung and breathing care for asthma, COPD, sleep, and other conditions.
Chiropractic Medicine
Drug-free spine and muscle care for back pain, neck pain, and headaches.
Wound Care
Special care for wounds that will not heal, like diabetic foot ulcers.
Home Care
Doctor-led care at home for patients who cannot easily reach a clinic.
The practical version of “multispecialty” is unglamorous. It means the nephrologist adjusting your blood-pressure medication can see what the pain physician prescribed last month, because both wrote in the same record. It means a referral inside the group is a message rather than a fax and a three-week wait. And it means that when something changes between visits, there is a named clinician who already knows the history, rather than a triage line meeting you for the first time.

Secure video visits are available to patients anywhere in Texas, new and established alike, which matters most to the patients furthest from a clinic door: a Groesbeck patient can have the first visit in person and the routine follow-ups without the drive. We are in-network with most major commercial plans, Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and Texas Medicaid — and if you do not see your plan on our insurance page, the benefits team can verify coverage while you are on the phone.

Remix Medical was founded in 2017 by a group of physicians — Uday Khosla, MD, Raju Mantena, DO, and Kaveh Samani, MD — who wanted a practice where the doctor treating you, not a hospital committee or an investor group, decides your care. They built it around physician ownership and grew it into a multispecialty group across Greater Houston and rural Texas, still led by the founding physicians and senior clinicians below.
